ok ummm so i just was informed that using ‘periodt’ and other terms such is that is wrong to do, as its making a mockery of AAVE (african american vernacular english) and so i’m going to start REALLY trying not to use it simply because it’s not meant for me, a white woman, to be using, even if it is in the frame of internet culture stolen from black creators. so, therefore, if i use it around you or you see me doing it, remind me!! i’m human ofc and might occasionally make the mistake of using it but please feel free to kindly remind me that it is not for me. thanks!!
