Hello! I'd like to bring notice to the rise in hate Crimea against Asians. Since covid-19 began, there has been a significant growth in the amount of Crimea directed at asians– with one involving TODDLERS getting stabbed. 
          
          I'm not sure what resources to look for, but if you guys know anything or have something that can help, I'd appreciate it. 
          
          I'm not poc, though I am very much an ally and have noticed that this has not been spoken about as much. This is weird because of the amount of fanfiction on here dedicated to people from Asia and anime characters. 
          
          We NEED to bring more attention to this, and as someone who doesn't speak enough about this kind of thing, I myself need to be less quiet about it too. Innocent people are getting hurt, and we need to do what we can to help prevent more people from being killed or injured simply because of their skin colour or sexual attraction or gender identity. 
          
          I myself am a bisexual (albeit, with amab preference, of which does not make me any less bi), demisexual (possibly grey-ace), demigirl, and while i don't understand being called racial slurs, or having to be as afraid every time I go outside, I do understand what it's like to be afraid people will hurt me simply for a part of who I am. And though I will never be able to understand what it's like to be in the shoes of poc folk, i want you to know I stand with you and I love you. 
          
          If you know or ever get to know me personally (I'd say even a stranger could, but you don't know who to look for) and need someone to try to help keep you safe, I will be there with you. I acknowledge my white privilege, and if I can, I will do what I can to use my privilege to assist in arrests, protecting you, and keeping you safe.
          
          I'm sorry if I said anything out of line, but really, I am here for all of you.
