I Can't Hear You Kellic reread series:

          	Review thirty-one: Glitter by thekellinunderthevic

          	5/5 stars

The version I found isn't completed, it only goes to chapter 30, but it was last updated less than a year ago, so I'm hopeful that she'll come back and put out the rest of it.

This book, like Complexes, was one of the first times I was exposed to trans people. I think this book is beautifully written and handles everything with such care. I literally cannot get over how much I love it.

The relationship progression is very well done, and the internal struggles of Kellin are beautifully written. I found myself cackling constantly at the banter. Sarah was always good at writing dialogue.

I know I only got to read part of it, but if Liyah does get around to finishing the reupload, I'll come back with more detailed notes.

Review thirty: I Was Kinda Hoping You'd Stay by bounpremASMR

          1/5 stars

          Just, no.

I thought the first one was underdeveloped, and this one was developed, but not well. It's like 6 different books wrapped into one, but none of them are fleshed out. The characters suck, the plot is too insane to feel plausible, and I'm sorry but why is everyone so god DAMN emotional??

I seriously wanted to DNF this book so hard, but I'm a completionist, so I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'm officially brain-dead from reading so many Kellic fics lately. But I have six left (I might only read one of them tbh).

Review twenty-nine: I'll Be The Fire That'll Catch You by bounpremASMR

          3/5 stars

Man I have no idea why I was obsessed with this fic in middle school. Genuinely.

It's kinda yucky, and also the plot isn't very developed. Neither are the characters. And there's literally no resolution. But there's a second book, so maybe that will help?

Also, ptv hasn't played Kissing in Cars the past 2 tour dates and it's freaking me out because that's literally my song and I was looking forward to it so much!! I swear if I don't get it I'm gonna cry.

          Review twenty-eight: Tattoos by pineapplevic

          3/5 stars

There's just not a lot of plot. This book is mostly Kellic fluff, and that's okay, but I found myself getting bored a lot.

The last 5 or so chapters are the only ones that really have any sort of story, and it all comes out of left field. The ending is really cute but feels rushed. There's not enough resolution for Jaime, and that makes me sad.

But punk Kellin and pastel Vic have my heart!!

          4/5 stars

For the same reasons as Fake You Out, this is a 4-star review. It could've been longer, more mysterious, less direct. Plus, I had some inconsistency issues. I'm not going to spoil it though, in case y'all wanna read.

It took me half an hour to read, which is totally fine. I think it's an impactful story regardless.

I can't believe how many fics I've already reread, and I still have many more to get through by June 7th.

This book is also one of my favorites. I think it's just so unique compared to the typical Kellic fics. For anyone who hasn't read it, I would 100% recommend.

          I just adore this fic!

          4/5 stars

The story is very intriguing. It evokes emotion well.

The only reason I'm removing a star is because I feel like it could've been longer, and the unfolding mystery could have been more mysterious. By the end of the book, the author kind of just hands it to you. And I wish it would've involved more thinking.

I remember thinking this was the craziest shit ever when I read it the first time.

The amount of times I've read this book is insane. I remember the entire plot and think about it constantly. It's right up there with Twice in a Lifetime, 1000 Paper Cuts, and Complexes.

And it's just a silly little fic about a mermaid and a marine biologist. But the CHOKEHOLD this story has on me.

It's very short, I read the entire thing in under 2 hours, but I think that's part of the reason I keep coming back to it, even when I wasn't actively reading Kellic fics for like 5 years.

Anyway, Vic as a marine biologist will live rent-free in my head for forever.

          4/5 stars

It's a decent story, but not a whole bunch happens. It's just Kellin and Vic being cute boyfriends for 27 chapters, which is totally fine, but I got a little bored reading it.

I read the sequel back in the day, but it's since been taken down. I'm not too upset though, because it was an mpreg and I'm not a huge fan of them. I think I just don't like kids

I graduated yesterday!! Officially got that BA!

This book was entertaining, but it was short, and the plot was lacking in some areas. The relationship dynamic is fun, but some of the logistics are kinda iffy. I won't say it's my favorite Sarah fic, but it's still higher up there.

I have officially finished getting my BA in Literature and Language Studies. My graduation ceremony is tomorrow, and I'm so excited to finally be done with school. I have 29 days until my ICHY show, and I plan on rereading another 14 fics by then, so stay tuned!

(Only 1 of them is by Sarah. It's the last one that's been recovered)
