I think the hardest moment in my life was when I realised that I was no longer a child. My mother wasn't going to protect me from the monsters under my bed or I wasn't going to be able to cry if something wasn't going right. I had to stand on my feet and show strength, I had to prove myself to Mr. Evil World. Life was no longer easy with all of these responsibilities and struggles. Constant thoughts of the future and possible failures, whether if I was going to succeed or have good relationships... Was I going to find my soulmate or even have kids? Was I ever going to have one night stands? Or stick with only one man?

I think the only way to keep my youth is to write. I spent my childhood-adolescence here so I'll come back here as much as I can and play pretend. This place now represents my alter self, somewhere I am me and me truly, thoroughly.
