awww, thank you, i’m glad you like my stories :)) i’ve only been really writing for two years, but i’ve always had an interest in writing.
as for how to write compelling stories, that’s a tough question to answer! i suppose the way to do that is first: a lot of research. like, reading other books and gaining inspiration from those stories is probably where you should start, because you can gain ideas for what you want to do with your plot from actual, published works! as for characters and believable interactions (while still showing respect for others), i’d say determining the characters personality is the first step. then, put yourself in their shoes; what would you do in this situation if you were them and had their personality? (also, note: i write my characters respectful because i don’t want them to get hurt too badly but also because they all know each other well enough to not cross too many lines. though, your characters don’t have to be respectful, just make sure they’re not just a bully and they have more substance beyond being mean!)
