my foot trembles in the pavement
          as i breathe heavily and sweat
          profusely pouring onto my forehead.
          i can feel death's wicked push
          ushering me to walk into uncertainty
          my heart races in deadly anticipation
          beating in tremors as adrenaline
          courses within my disheveled system–
          i will now
          cross
          the fucking
          road

I love the way she makes me smile, she makes me– smirk? no. She makes me pull out the shabby books of oblivion whose secrets may unleash apocalyptic beings into this world of terrible vile, and whose tales cannot be decrypted by the shallow human minds and perceptions, summoning ancient entities to devour mankind and punch your faces.
