This was fucking depressing. I will never forgive the United States for what they did. This is all their fault. After the 2003 invasion, they turned to and backed exiled opposition groups who had strong Islamist and sectarian identities. The “U.S.-approved” parties were Islamist. Meanwhile, secular, socialist, and leftist groups were sidelined by the United States.

I published a political piece. Feel free to read it regardless of your political affiliation. I would like to add that though I condemn religious groups, I am not discriminatory to religious people themselves. I just think they should not impose their religious views or beliefs on others.
