Before I even post chapter 22 of Gaikoku no Akuma, I'm researching where does demon slayer take place. everyone is saying 1915 or 1912-1914 due to the hand demon's quote, and others are saying 1920s because of that one scene where Muzan and his "family" were in front of a ford model T car..

ughgbhtrbnvu i wish there was a clear / confirmed answer :sob:

@Shinobuxme6900 Hey girl! Okay so Tanjiro spent roughly a year in the corp.. I can agree with that. Even in the demon slayer verse, time feels fast but it's actually... not. My gut tells me this makes sense despite koyoharu not giving us a canon year. Plus the fanbooks kinda help me. So Muzan was either defeated very late 1915 or very early 1916. I'm going with the former I feel like it makes more sense for some reason-

@yaymehmmno HEY HEY GIRLY I LOGGED BACK ON anyways I looked it up and the ford model t car was produced in October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927 (totally didn't copy and paste the dates) but yeah. I read sum on tumblr with a kny theory specialist and it kinda adds up.

just read this ig. Basically Demon Slayer started in 1912 (I agree with this because remember when Tanjiro said it was "now" the Taisho Era? KEY WORD: "*NOW*") and when Tanjiro mentioned that he'll be late for the new year thingy it's like early 1913 and then the 2 year gap leaves us with 1915. When mitsuri and tanjiro were out they had a fall season dinner during the swordssmith village so it would be September 1915. And then the training arc which took like 1-2 months. Muzan's defeat would either be December or January. And during the last few chapters when the flowers were "blooming" and everyone was healing, it had to been April-May 1916.
