Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Women Studies [2014]

I'm a proud brown woman of color who believes that conversations regarding race, sex, gender, sexuality, language, religion, abilities/disabilities, etc. still matter today. 

I write stories about strength and survival; pain and loss; dignity and pride; love and hate. I write stories that I want to read, but most importantly, I write stories that aren't being written, or perhaps, they're being miswritten. 

There's a history of women and in specific, women of color, who are being misrepresented in novels because authors tend to use stereotypes, generalizations and bigotry. 

I'm also a romantic and write about love and passion. Forgiveness is an honor that is given to people. I don't believe apologizing is enough. Words often hide truths and realities, they're often used to hurt and manipulate; but they also can be used to give people strength. I hope I learn how to do that.

In my free time I edit essays, short stories, chapters, novels. Will edit for $5.00 each chapter (or essay, short story). I give critiques, recommendations on how to help story progress, etc. message me if you're interested. However, I'm about to start my master's program in my university and I don't know how hectic my schedule will be. Will try to finish in three days.
