I hate being a Christian and having religious trauma because why say my grace and thank God for food if he wasn’t the one in the kitchen my brother was. Why pray for help when he never hears me? Was he there when I was in the hospital in literal pain unable to speak and voice out my pain? Was he there to hug me all the times I’ve cried my eyes out? Was he there to stop me when I nearly hurt myself? (I didn’t dw). This religion was probably where my abandonment issues started. I hate when people say his love is unconditional because they are so many conditions of what can and can not do to be a good child for God. I’m scared of being baptized because once you are baptized you are reborn. You have to act more “holy”. You have to not do anything wrong or not sin. It’s like giving your freedom up to just live your life for a God who we don’t even know exists. I don’t think I ever want to be baptized…

@yejiki_ I honestly think not everyone's soul is bound to the religion they grew up on. I was in the same boat as you years ago, and as an ex-Christian adult, I found that my soul is bound to the universe, reincarnation, and manifestation. It's not anything against Christianity and I'm definitely not saying you should do the same as me, but I don't think my soul is bound to that answer of life. You're still young and I know you probably couldn't choose your religion because of your family, but as you grow older, I don't think you should force yourself into something that doesn't feel right for you. I think you should strive for something that gives you answers. ♥︎♥︎
