Before you could even consider accepting your "mothers" hug kaz hooked the back of your leather corset with his Kane dragging you down the street "kaz! Kaz stop it!" You screamed at him yanking away from him after he'd dragged you almost a street away from your faimly "what are you doing!? Kaz my parents-" "those aren't your parents" kaz growled he wasn't mad at you tho he looked livid he was furious with the cold hearted people pretending to be the one thing you desire most only so they can rip that love from your heart leaving you like him empty of any hope at all you fought back tears of anger and frustration and sadness you would not cry you wouldn't cry infront of all the people in the street and you would especially not cry infront of kaz yeah he'd seen you beaten and battered in your worst moments even once in a jail cell but he sure as hell wasn't gonna see a tear escape your eye socket not in a million years you told your self "think (u)" kaz reminded you shaking your shoulder a bit more forcefully then necessary "your not thinking straight" he said as you looked up at him in a confused daze "you told me about your parents before your mother had (mothers hair color) hair not black remember? Her name... it was (mothers name) wasn't it?" Kaz tried to talk you threw your disbelief and fill in the missing imagines of your parents and then you remembered you had told kaz about your parents he was right those posers were nothing but good for nothing rotten con artists

One cloudy day in katterdam kaz and you were walking to the crows club to meet with jasper about some rumors but all of a sudden a woman and a man both looked at you with wide eyes threw the crowd looking at you in disbelief before rushing over to you the woman bursting out crying as she ran up to you sobbing "my baby! The black haired woman asked with a sad hopeful smile and you looked at her a vague image of your (moms hair color) haired mother touching your mind but you longed for this woman to be your mother who you missed so dearly that you changed the memory and filled in the foggy figures of your parents with these people standing before you claiming to be your parents You'd seen it before countless times before the orphan scam two people pretending to be parents to a parentless child longing for family only to be swindled out of all there money but you wanted it so badly you couldn't help but believe them and kaz saw it he saw your desire so strong that it overwhelmed your logic and over took you
