And I didn't notice the doctor part of your message - and though saving lives is very beneficial again do you as long as it makes you happy. There are millions of other people who are just eligible into becoming a lawyer and doctor anyways and actually want to be it. PLUS ART IS AWESOME SAUCE FAM. And you paint? Have you made anything in general? Like in a canvas, paper or whatever? Dude show it to me on like Insta or something. Bet your art looks dope.

But there's no actual harm in being an exception out of all of that. If your family loves you, which I know they will bc you're you tess, they would support you either way. Whether your path leads to defending prisoners in court, working for the law in general or picking up a brush and bringing colors to a blank canvas, whichever choice you make it's all up to you as long as it makes YOU happy. Don't feel pressured just because you don't feel like continuing your family's legacy or some shit. Plus painting and being an artist is a lot more fun than being in a courtroom arguing and downgrading your morals and making a complete ass of yourself most of the time. Do what you love. I'm pretty sure your folks will understand.
