I learned  by   reading what others have written, asking questions and I'm also a member of an online poetry school. I still struggle  with punctuation so I have a few friends  that will  help me with that. Try to . keep yourself open-minded to suggestions on how to improve your writing. A good critique  of  poetry is never about the poet  but the poem and how it could be  improved .
