Hey guys! I’m hoping to have another update shared tonight and some more toward the end of the week. The end of last week/beginning of this week I had some deadlines to hit at work so I’ve been super concerned with that! Regular postings will be back ASAP! The support I’ve been receiving has been incredible-thank you all so much for reading-it means so much to me! 

Hello. I'm back.
          I never really left, I just haven't been sharing content.
          If there's anyone out there who wants some new, Van McCann content, stick around. I added a new story that will be pretty mature...and follow the band post the final shows at Reading and Leeds last summer. I will also be updating older stories like Edgy, and the Sam Fender, fic, too.

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated, and there are many reasons for that. Some extremely personal, and some that make me feel awkward writing about a band that acted as muse for me, especially when I’ve crossed paths with mutual friends of said band and gotten close with those mutual people, and I feel slightly guilty as I write about the band now, especially knowing the things I do. I’m trying to keep fact and fiction separate, relying heavily on the fiction of this story to finish. (If anyone ever finds this out, I’ll probably throw up haha). Anyways, I do apologize for being gone. I had some major, life changing events happen, so I thought it was only fair to jump six weeks ahead in the story, since in reality, that time and then some has passed. We’re nearing the end, and it’s been an absolute privilege to share this with all of you. We’ve got a few chapters and an epilogue left, and I’ll do my best to get them to you quickly.
          To the new readers I’ve gained, the people coming from tumblr, and the comments and messages you’ve sent to me, I appreciate the support more than you could know.

So, how many updates is too many this weekend? 
          

I just wanted to thank you all for the reads, comments, votes, and love. The fic is almost at 20k reads and I never expected more than ten people to read it. So thank you-from the bottom of my soul.
          I’m going to keep the story going until it feels right to stop, and I know you all enjoy it, so let’s just ride, and write this out together.
          Hoping to have an update to you tonight, and more consistently after that.
          I appreciate the love so much. It keeps me going! I’ll keep writing it its what you all want! 

Hoping to get you guys a few chapters this week. I’m sorry for the delay between them. I recently took on a new position at work, and within the next few months I’ll also be moving, so lots to think about! 
          
          I plan on releasing a new book in 2021, and for those of you who may not know, I’ve released four others since 2015. Someone recommended changing the names of my characters in IJWTBET and publishing that, but I don’t know...guess we’ll see what the next few months bring. I’m open to your thoughts! 
          
          A musician friend of mine has offered to put music to the lyrics in the story, so there’s a good chance you might be able to hear these songs someday, too! I guess we will see.
