I normally don't share my personal experiences on here but I guess since everyone is talking about it I'll also share my experience lol
So yesterday I attended the HYBE india pop park in delhi and as an experienced kpop fan who has been to atleast 8- 9 different pop up events (even volunteered as a staff in one) I do agree that the crowd was wayyy too much lol I've attended a diff event on the same venue before and I was confident that the venue was big enough but oh boy I underestimated delhites. The problem is I saw too many people bring their parents and siblings with them as if it's a family event like?? Y'all are just bringing unnecessary crowd. Half the time these uncs and aunts were judging all the young girls and boys there who treat these events as a safe space to show love to their interests and Idk I just think it's weird to make your parents tag along with you when you're a grown adult. And please stop attending every event you see online if you ain't even interested in the theme of the event -_- (saw way too many non fans)

Bottomline, don't attend such large scale events since alot of "influencers" on insta went there as a first-timer and now complaining as if these events aren't always crowded as hell. Do not attend until you're experienced in such events otherwise you will feel it wasn't worth it but if you know how to smartly navigate through the event you can get as much worth out of it as you want.
Though I really wished that hybe had put a lower limit to the registrations cause they definitely underestimated their reach in india and since it was a free event I don't think it would've been too much of a lose if they reduced the registrations to 2000 from 3000. Just a suggestion.

Another problem was that people were super unethical in their approach to all the pop up shops due to which me and my friend had to be on queue for the h&m store for more than 2 hours! And before you say that this is normal, in pop up events it's not most kpop events emphasis on the 'first come first serve' ALOT even on this one. And it gets to a point tbh like half of them were just there when they didn't even wanna do anything but grab freebies without passports, when it was a clear from the beginning that you have to do certain activities to get them.
I luckily had the fandom passport (had to run for it until I felt like my legs can't work anymore) and that was the only reason I didn't give up on getting atleast 5 stamps. Which I did so I was happy.
The most smartest pop up was organised by kia! They used their location so well most people didn't even know they were giving out the most expensive freebies lmfao. But you see they were smart but I was Smarter :) people were queuing on the store front and it was such a huge line you couldn't even see the end of it. But no one knew what exactly they were queuing for so alot of people thought they were 'scammed' when infact they didn't reveal all the criterias for the freebies to everyone only to ones who bothered to go and ask. I got the first prize without even queuing hahaha.
