          "Akala ko hindi ka pupunta," bulong nito. Pumuwesto ito ng upo sa tabi ko.
          
          "Hindi talaga ako pupunta kung hindi lang dahil sa'yo at kay Cindy. Ano ba okasyon? May ano?"
          
          "Celebration at nakapasa kayong lahat sa periodical exam. Masyado mong ginalingan, Tia. Nagtataka sila sa scores mo at kung paano mo nagawang maging perfect ang lahat ng exam. By the way, congrats."
          
          "Thanks. Siya nga pala, Red, mayroon akong kasalanan kay Kito. Iyong sasakyan niya.."
          
          "Ako na ang bahala doon. Ang mahalaga, hindi ka nasaktan."
          
          "Alam mo? Paano?"
          
          Nanatili lang itong nakangiting nakatingin sa akin, na siyang ikinakunot ng noo ko rito. Nakipaglabanan na lang din ako ng titigan  para hintayin ang kung ano man ang sasabihin nito.
          
          "Ehem.." tikhim ni Kito. Pumuwesto ito ng upo sa harapan namin ni Red. "Pahiram ng song book."
          
          Tinampal ni Red ang kamay ni Kito at ipinagkausog papunta sa akin ang song book. "Hintayin mo makapili ng kanta si Tia at makinig ka ng mabuti sa kakantahin niya dahil para sa iyo iyon."
          
          Halos mahulog ang panga ko sa sinabing iyon ni Red.

          "Paano kita tatawagin? Sa paanong paraan? Thru phone?"
          
          "No, Tia. Just call my name and I'll be there."
          
          "What if, kung madami kaming tumawag sa iyo? Sino una mong pupuntahan?"
          
          "Depende sa situation. Depende kung sino ang dapat kong i-first priority. Parang sa pasyente, kung sino ang pinaka-critical siya ang uunahin ko. But, ikaw lang naman ang sinabihan ko so ikaw lang ang pupuntahan ko."
