Just here to check how you are doing. I hope 2021 and 2022 thus far have been good for you. 
          I am working a lot as well and some evenings I’d like to check up on my favorite fan fiction writer.

Hey guys! First, here's wishing you all a Happy New Year! May 2021 be miles better than 2020.
          
          Second, since quite a few people have been asking why I'm no longer active, the simple reason is that the effects of the global recession caught up with me in the third quarter of the last year. In short, I was retrenched from my job in September last year. Yeah, 2020 was a disastrous year for me.
          
          But, it's not all that bad. With God's grace, I was able to find a job with an almost-similar paygrade in another firm in December, so 2020 kinda ended on a bittersweet note in that aspect. However, that sadly means I have no time at all to continue with any of my fanfictions for a good portion of the year if I wanna secure my position in this new firm.
          
          Fanfiction writing has always been my passion since my college days, and it has always bothered me that I never got to finish some of my stories/series. But, sadly, life tends to throw all sorts of challenges into your face and errect all sorts of barriers in your pursuit for your passion. 
          
          That said, I truly apologize to all my followers for not being able to update any of my stories this year. I might be able to find the time to update a chapter of my last story, but I find that that it's quite unlikely.
          
          Before I sign off, I apologize once again for the disappointing news, but I'd like to stress that this doesn't mean I have completely abandoned fanfiction writing. I will continue to write, just not so soon and probably not for a good portion of the year. It really depends on what lies ahead for me in my working life.
          
          That will be all. Again, thank you to all my readers and followers for... well- reading and following my stories. You guys are the reason why I still have a passion for fanfiction writing. May 2021 be a more fruitful and even more wonderful year ahead for all of you! Love y'all so much! :'D
