          Sa lahat ng naapektuhan ng magnitude 7.5 earthquake dito sa General Santos City at mga karatig lugar, please stay safe and continue to be alert, especially sa possible aftershocks.
          
          As someone na taga-Gensan rin, hindi ko maipaliwanag nang buo ang takot na naramdaman ko kanina. Halos dalawang minuto ang malakas na pagyanig, at sa bawat segundo pakiramdam ko mas lalong lumalakas. Nasa balcony kami noon, at napaluhod na lang ako habang mahigpit na niyayakap ang wooden pillar, hawak ang auntie ko at ang younger brother ko. Hindi na kami makababa dahil sobrang delikado nang gumalaw habang nanginginig ang buong paligid.
          
          Sa totoo lang, during those two minutes, doon ko na-realize na walang halaga ang mamahaling gamit, achievements, status, o pride kapag kaharap mo ang isang natural disaster. In those moments, wala kang iniisip kundi ang buhay ng mga mahal mo at kung makakaligtas ba kayong lahat. Everything can be replaced, but a life cannot.
          
          My heart goes out to everyone who experienced fear, panic, injuries, damages, or loss because of this earthquake. Let's continue praying for the safety of every family affected and extend kindness to those who need help.
          
          Please prepare emergency kits, keep your phones charged, secure important documents, and have an evacuation plan ready. Most importantly, keep your faith strong and always pray.
          
          Tonight, let's be grateful for every breath, every loved one beside us, and every chance to start another day.
