Dog agility grew out of Grand Prix. After the horses were done jumping, people would take down all the poles but the lowest ones and run their dogs through the course. I loved competing in dog agility BK (before kids). You become so attuned to your dog as you run the course together. Not as much as horse and rider, but we take what we can❤️
