SM entertainment has confirmed that Jonghyun has passed away. He died from apparent suicide from the coal briquettes' carbon monoxide. Jonghyun was in the industry for nearly 10 years. In those 10 years, he never did or said anything that wasn't something for shawols to be proud of. He stood for minorities and comforted others even when he himself couldnt be comforted. Jonghyun gifted his fans and other artists wonderful music and lyrics, and he helped many others fight their own struggles with his voice. Its a sad reality that hes helped hundreds find themselves on their journey, but he ended his while wandering in his own doubt. He fought so hard for these past 10 years. Its heartbreaking that Jonghyun has to leave this early, but even his death shows his grace. He finished all his work before, and will have his organs donated to those who need it. 27 years isnt enough for all the wonderful work and inspiration that he could have given, but we're happy that he gifted us with so much before he left.
