I just wanna talk about something that’s been on my mind so TW: HEAVY topics (school related)

          School shootings have been happening more often along with threats and even if they’re fake I think they’re fucked up. And I want people to see my point for this so I’m gonna explain. 
          
          
          Schools have been getting threatened to be shot up and school districts have been sending out voicemails, emails, and calls due to them. My school has been threatened more than once and I’m genuinely on edge man. 
          My school isn’t heavily guarded, or fenced, or blocked. Which sucks. We have glass doors and they are locked but that won’t stop a killer from getting in. A bullet can shatter glass and that’s me stating the obvious. 
          Especially if it’s a student with a gun in their backpack, that doesn’t make it any better.
          
          I haven’t been going to school because of the threats but that doesn’t stop the outcome. 
          
          If one person does it, so will another. 
          
          If I miss one day it doesn’t mean ‘everything is magically fine and I’ll be okay!’ These days are random. Or at least I think so smh. 
          What I’m really trying to say I guess is that I really hope everyone is safe out there, and if something does happen to me I want to thank you all for the support you’ve given me, for the friends I’ve made, for the stories I’ve made, deleted etc. for everything. I want to thank you for the good and bad, the criticism, the jokes, the drama, the compliments, the happy times, everything. It’s been a roller coaster, but that’s life. 
          
          And chat I don’t want it to be cut short. But that’s not my choice. And I’m sorry if I sound emo or weird as fuck but yknow. 
          I love you all and please just try to stay safe.
