Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.

Hey,
If you’re a fan of intense sibling drama, you should definitely check out my story. It’s all about the raw bond between brothers and that special, protective relationship the eldest brothers have with their little sisters.

I’ve featured Shaleen Malhotra (ARJUN/KARAN from har yug mein aaega ek arjun and ziddi dil mane na) and Parth Samthaan (MANIK from Kaise yeh yaariyan) as One of the leads, and the plot is packed with everything from deep family secrets and mystery to soft, caring moments. It’s a new book with a lot of heart, so please give it a try and read until the latest chapter before drawing any conclusions.!

I have already provided English translations for the Hindi dialogues in several chapters, and I’ll be updating the rest soon—all future chapters will have translations included as well.
Don't forget to Add it to your library to stay updated!

Hey! I saw your comment and thought I’d recommend my story because your reading taste feels really similar to mine ❤️

My book is called Guarded Heart, and it starts with a fun, warm school environment cousins, siblings, teasing, banter, friendship, and found family vibes. Nothing heavy at first just characters growing, bonding, and living their teenage life.

As the story moves forward, the emotional depth starts showing.

The main character, Aria, is a quiet girl who joins a new school. She’s kind, observant and soft, but she also struggles with her past and doesn’t open up easily. She doesn’t trust fast, but once she loves someone, she loves deeply.

Then there’s Shivansh calm, patient, emotionally mature, and protective in a silent way. He’s not the arrogant type he’s the one who sees people and understands them. Their bond starts slow: stolen glances, small conversations, shared silence… and eventually trust.

Around them, there are two more couples forming Rohan & Avni (enemies to lovers energy) and Saavi & Akshat (friends, hidden feelings, tension). The friend group becomes a huge part of the story supporting each other through school chaos, family moments, jealousy, heartbreak, healing and love.

As the chapters progress, the book becomes more emotional and personal. Aria’s past starts affecting her present, and Shivansh steps up not to “fix” her, but to stand beside her while she learns to heal.

So overall, the book has: ✨ slow-burn romance
          ✨ emotional growth and trust-building
✨ friendship, family bonds and comfort
          ✨ supportive male lead
✨ characters with depth and personality
✨ moments that feel warm, soft, relatable and real

If you ever want to try a story that feels like comfort + emotion + slow-burn love, I’d love for you to give Guarded Heart a chance.
No pressure — just sharing in case it matches your vibe ✨
