one thing about tech field is that opportunities run out faster than you would know, what i mean is. all the innovative idea that you have needs to be put to study and into creation as fast as possible, this is something we were tayght in my highschool and college is that tech field moves very fast and a LOT of people have the same idea as you out there. and i have experienced it first hand 3 times by now. in the last year of my high school i had an idea of a way to turn sign language straight into  sound. i knew what i had to do, i had a base planned out but had little to no skill and no funds to put it into a prototype. also no friends for help. by the time i got in college and found the friends i can do all this with and can get fundings, tech news, MIT students have already created the exact model i was thinking, the same repeated with another idea we were working on, we still got the funding and made some modifications in it and are currently working on a prototype for it. and it happened again today. the exact model of an openAI chat bot we were working on, already has a prototype made by some other uni students. it seemed so ridiculous to think about when my teacher in high school had mentioned it. but seeing it happen before my eyes is indeed believable and very frustrating.
