Hey! Just a quick announcement.

I’m slowly moving my stories to Tapas while I explore the website and figure things out. I’ll announce here once everything is uploaded and ready to read.

The reason I’m moving is that I’m not as fond of Wattpad as I used to be, and I’m really planning not to publish here anymore. I was just searching for the right platform, and in the meantime, I published my stories here because I still wanted them to reach readers. When I rebrand myself, I hope to find a platform where I can write freely with no pressure, and I hope this can be a fresh, new start for me.

Also, from now on, my stories will be written in English.

I hope to see you soon on Tapas!

Hey, Echoes!

I forgot to tell you that I won’t be updating the chapters of AWOSL every day—I don’t want to pressure myself to rush this short story. I’ll be writing and updating at my own pace, so there won’t be a set schedule for updates. Feel free to add it to your RL or library and enjoy it once it’s complete.

“I gently pulled out the tray from the oven. My hands shook slightly—this time, not out of worry but out of joy, as I gazed at the golden brown bread resting before me.”

Happy 500 reads, WTBTG! Thank you so much!

I’ve been a little busy all day preparing for tomorrow because of the typhoon, and I’ve been feeling anxious about it. But this made me feel a little lighter. By the way, I unpublished chapters 2–10 because I’m editing them, but I’ll republish them once I’m done. Please bear with me. Thank you!

Hey, Echoes!
          ‎
‎Just a quick heads-up—AWOSL will be written entirely in Tagalog. I’ll only use English if a word or phrase doesn’t have a proper Tagalog equivalent, or when the female character is speaking, since her character is an English speaker. You might also encounter some deep Tagalog words, since the narration will be in 3rd POV, which I feel fits the setting much better.
          ‎
‎“E, bakit po English ang title?” I actually tried adjusting the title into Tagalog, but none of them felt right. I also experimented with the narration by mixing Tagalog and English (like I usually do in 1st POV), but it didn’t suit the tone of this story. In the end, I decided to keep the English title, while the narration stays fully in Tagalog.
          ‎
‎I’m sharing this because I know some of you might not be fluent in Tagalog. So if you’re planning to read AWOSL, here’s your heads-up.
