does anyone else feel the need to make their work deeply personal. when I write, I write with the intention make people feel something, pulling from concepts I feel are close to my experience and identity. I use my extraordinarily human hand to reach out and touch them, sometimes drawing and sometimes forcing, them to look at my work, look at *me* through it. like my voice isn't heard elsewhere or is otherwise so petrified from under-use that I have to speak through writing, and my frustration manifests in the force with which I communicate my story.
