although i’m no longer in the mcyt fandom (i simply grew out of it after a couple of years), looking back at the old fanfics i used to read makes me want to cry. for instance, the “her melody” series, which was the first ever fanfic i read on here back in 2020-2021, is literally the most nostalgic thing ever. and the whole entire cadarino universe. i was literally so invested just a few years ago and i never knew the last time i was going to enjoy reading those beautifully written books, i just stopped one day. i remember waiting for cad to come out with a new chapter and literally squealing when the notification popped up. even though im not in any way interested in mcyt anymore and most likely wouldn’t continue the books solely because of it, thank you for being such an important part of my youth. if you’re in my mcyt reading list then you really did impact me (none of the creators will see this considering a. none of them follow me and b. the majority of them are inactive but i decided to post this regardless).
