I have some emotional attachment to 'confused', not just because it was my first fanfic, but also because I was going through the exact things Jake was going through in school, even the crush's brother plot was relatable to me, the only difference being that Jake liked his crush's brother but I liked my crush's sister, she made me feel seen and loved, she noticed things people didn't notice but the sad truth is, she probably just sees me as her sister tbh ;p and idk why I'm ranting about this rn but it's been DAYS since I've yapped here
