Hey! I just saw your message on my board. I am SO SORRY I Had to delete it because of the spoiler  
           But I took a screenshot so I can answer properly! 
          
          1. About character, settings, depth: 
          
          To be brutally honest with you, they just come to me. I’ll sometimes randomly get an idea from nothing, an epiphany of sorts. Or sometimes I will see a mundane thing, say- a black thread and have an entire character mapped around that. So for Ryan, his ear stud, necklace and blue eyes became the centre. The sparkling eyes reflecting his chaos (also his messy hair). 
          
          Since you already dabble with writing I know you must already have a lot of ideas in your head! I’ve been thinking about my very first story for a decade or so, inspired for Harry Potter- then gradually evolving to become my very own. Getting Wilder is based loosely on parts of my own life, Sugar Baby (or specifically, the romance in sugar baby) was written in one night after watching a movie. I also have a lot of ideas that never got realised because of it not being fleshed out properly. 
          
          I would say, whatever idea you have- just start writing. It’ll come to you. Honestly, there are times when it hasn’t “come to me” and I’ve dropped it, even if I thought the initial idea was good.

@booklored  yes same lol! Im going to be staring at the white wall for the next 2 hours lmao. As much as I LOVEEEEE emotionally heavy stories, I must say I don’t handle grief well even if it’s for a fictional character (coz they become so real). It’s like I on,y think about them for a whole week or 2 lol! But the depth is definitely worth it!
