Remember Rei Saotome, who was formally introduced in the 2nd chapter of "The Shining Eclipse" together with Serena? I changed her name in this fic to Rei-na (or Reina) to avoid confusion with Rei "LAYER" Wakana from RAISE A SUILEN.
@yuya_sakaki07 I See, it also applied to K-Dori's Togetsu Rei where me and Louis changed her name in that fic as Shirokane Reiko with same reason, to avoid confusion with Wakana Rei from RAISE A SUILEN

Sayo Hikawa; A bitter, envious, and stubborn girl with severe inferiority complex issues who evolved into a thoughtful, introspective, open-minded, and somewhat humble girl with a grounded mindset and embraces her newfound love for family and friendships. While she may accept the fact that she won't always outdo Hina in many things, this doesn't stop her from trying to be the best person/guitarist she can be and being a good loving older sister towards Hina (& Akira). This comes to show that if a person like Sayo can make a difference, then anyone can!
Yukina Minato, Sayo Hikawa, and Chiyu Tamade... What do these three girls all have in common? All three of them: - Shared the same interests and ideals for music. - Made a lot of horrible and selfish decisions in life which almost made them walk down a dark and empty path they would regret taking. - Had friends and family that influenced them to change themselves for the better by reinventing themselves as people and rebuilding the bridges they had once burnt down.
@yuya_sakaki07 Nice, let's use some "handshaking" meme template for this. I mean, it's quite true.
Any thoughts so far about the bio chapter of this redheaded Japanese-Korean boy? Reviews and comments are highly appreciated! https://www.wattpad.com/1029091475-the-shining-eclipse-oc-x-bang-dream-bio-y%C5%ABgo-song
Honestly, I hated Sayo at first ever since I watched the 1st Roselia band story in GBP. But over time, I started to like and feel sympathetic towards Sayo as I started to relate to her. In fact, I knew a handful of people in my life who performed better than me in most things. Sure I felt jealous at first for those times I get outclassed by someone, but instead of moping or feeling bitter, I used these experiences as stepping-stones for improvement and my growth as a person. Because no matter how many times I fall behind and even if the odds are stacked against me, I'll always find a way to push through and succeed on my own terms in the end. I should mention too that there's a big difference between showing you're the best and knowing you're the best. When you want to SHOW you're the best, you expect every time that you'll receive material things such as golden trophies, medals, or certificates as validation to confirm that you're number one or you have great worth. But when it comes to KNOWING that you're the best, you know that you're already the best because you believe in your heart that you are indeed an amazing person in your own right all along despite encountering countless setbacks/obstacles along the way. I hate to be blunt, but I honestly believe that the way she chose to deal with her own personal issues before was quite sad yet foolish and inexcusable at the same time. The true reason why Sayo kept falling behind most of the time is that she lacked the capacity to believe in herself that she knows she can be the best or to even think about what her true goal really is. Not to mention that she mostly preferred to listen to what her mind and logic say instead of her heart and soul. Sure, it's quite normal to envy or to feel jealous of others who perform better than you, but I don't want to let them drag me down to the point where I would develop an inferiority complex and consequentially lose my own sense of judgment and moral integrity.
@yuya_sakaki07 I face the same thing like you. In fact, a lot of times. I mean, I too can relate to Sayo based on what does she face with Hina. Unlike you who tried to become better, I keep being a crybaby and won't improve like that easily. I feel envy, jealous and anger with other people who are better than me especially in Wattpad, to be seriously honest.
I just noticed something, Sayo quitted doing a lot of hobbies because they required a lot of time and skill to master as Hina was able to master them without even breaking a sweat. Aside from the guitar (which she claims at first is the only thing Hina wouldn't copy from her), didn't she even once considered taking up simple hobbies that required little-to-zero skills, or better yet, are non-competitive? I hardly see any competition in simpler hobbies such as veggie gardening, journaling, listening to podcasts, starting a collection of something, or maybe even auto mechanics...
Yo! For the Kita PhotonKnights Bang Dream! x Initial D crossover fanfic, I'll only be introducing the street racing teams and cars that'll be shown in the story for now, along with the intro theme of "Stage 01". I'll most likely start working on the first chapter once the Haneoka & CiRCLE Arc of "The Shining Eclipse" is finished.
