hello, dearest! i’m so glad you liked my story! and i’m definitely happy you asked those questions! :)))
BTG actually started with the characters’ names, then title, and then followed by the storyline itself. However, the storyline wasn’t solid yet, so I had a note that contains everything that I want for the story to happen. What’s inside that note was the minor and major plots of the story; minor plots are the mini scenes and major plots are the conflict of the story.
For what’s inside the chapters, I plan what’s supposed to be written a day before I actually write it. For example, for chapter 23, I have my notes app opened and that’s where I start listing my ideas down—by this, it avoids writer’s block and lets you think more of the chapters at the same time.
For the storyline, I had it written down on my notebook. That notebook helped me remember everything—including the timelines. I give myself an estimated amount of total chapters, and so with that, I could finalize how many chapters an arc could and should be.
For a few times, a scene comes into my mind first rather than the actual plan for the chapter. The thing is to write them down, regardless if it wasn’t a part of a certain chapter. So by the time you need it, it’s just there—already written, and all you have to do is to revise it accordingly.
And that was how BTG was made, dearest! I hope this message helps. It is my pleasure to help, especially with writing! <3 sana matuloy-tuloy mo ang pagsusulat at h’wag hahayaang kainin ng hiya ang obra mo. i hope you remember that writing is a free will, so don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re wrong for writing your thoughts. goodluck on your journey, miss writer! <3
