when they wake up they remember nothing, they dont even remember dating
their parents are saying nothing because they dont want them together
they even start hating each other because their parents fill their minds with bullshit
BUT! y/n and billie both have secret boxes with their pictures from dates and what not under thair beds (they discover it on accident)
they meet up talk and figure out something isnt right
while trying to figure out whats happening and whats actually happened they catch feelings for each other again
they start dating again but this time in secret regardles of their parents wishes

another idea, what if theres a scenario where love is one sided BUT the thing is... love is one sided ONLY BECAUSE the other person is actually uncapable of loving anything or anyone! like there is no hate at all, just not feeling that feeling but they're not aromantic if it makes sense? and no matter how much the pther person shows and says they love them the pther person can trust them but they dont feel their love thats being given cuz again they cant feel that emotion... it could be like a curse or something? idk
