I hated school, with a passion. I just didn’t want to succumb to the system. What—it just isn’t fitting for me to spend half of my life learning shit I’ll never use in real life and then work to make end meets for the other half until I die.

I just know there’s more to life.

I was waking up to the sound of desk scrapping the floor as students form groups. I figured I’d do the same even though I had no idea what was going on. I searched for familiar faces, my eyes stopped on Harvey. He was sitting in the corner, his gray hoodie covering half of his face, he rested his head on the wall, sleeping peacefully. I smiled, grabbing my stuff to join him.

It was just me and Harvey in the back, no one else would group with him and I pitied him, only for a second then immerse anger consumed me—why were people so judgey?

Harvey was still sleeping, unaware of the movements happening around him.

'God, he looks so beautiful when he sleeps. The way his eyelashes glaces his cheeks, his nose flaring as he breathes out, his lips slightly apart—I could just kiss him.'

“Quit staring.” His voice startled me.

I buried my face in the chemistry book, blushing profoundly.

He laughs, flipping the pages of his text book, he picks his pen up and paused, staring into my eyes, “we’re gonna fail this, you know?” He started scribbling stuff down.

I shifted in my seat, “I’m pretty smart.” I was embarrassed at how small and uncertain my voice came out.

Harvey chuckled, “even you don’t believe that.”

          	**SNEAK PEEK**
