Hey everyone,

I'll be changing the updated schedule for Hidden to Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1PM EST.

Hi again, I just saw your update cuz I slept kind of early yesterday.

I hope you don't mind me asking... but how many words are your chapters on an average count cuz I feel that my chapters are too short and I want to work on that..

Mine are about 1k on average, tell me if you think my chapters are too short, I'd love your feedback.

@Asprn02 No problem. Remember, it's your story so write it how you want to :)

@Asprn02 Hi again.

On average, mine are between 2,000-4,000 words. I do have some future chapters (like maybe one or two) that are around 6,000 words. I generally learned that you don’t wanna make chapters too long to avoid people having to stop and continue later. The sweet spot (at least in my opinion is 2,000-4,000).

I think if you made your chapters slightly longer that might help, especially if it’ll be a while between updates. I’m a fast reader so I can read 1k in less than 10 minutes if I’m not distracted.

If 1k is what you’re comfortable with writing for right now, then stick with it. You kinda just learn what works for you. I just naturally write a lot and have a hard time cutting stuff out because I’m so detailed when I write.

Tbh, I loved every bit of your story, and it certainly gave me a few much needed laughs, something I'm still trying to accomplish in my own writing.

I'd love to see new and frequent updates, which is the only way to build consistent reads, as my current journey as a writer has taught me.

I'll certainly make sure to mention your book on my next update, because a talent like yours needs recognition.

I also suggest you make sure to always review chapters before posting in order to cross check grammar issues, as perfect grammar gives your story a chance to be noticed by Wattpad and recommended in the Editors Picks.

Keep up the wonderful work and thanks for your support for me and my work.

          - Beth :)

@Asprn02 that's cool. I also transfer my drafts from Word when I get too fed up with some of Wattpad s tiny hitches like not saving current editing and the like.

I'll probably always be the first to read and vote on your new updates lol

@Asprn02 normally I wouldn’t have the time, but I can since my entire book is already done. I’ve just been transferring all my chapters over from a Word doc to Wattpad so all I really have to do is fix any formatting or grammar issues I missed while I was editing.

At least you’ll know when to expect updates if we’re in the same time zone though.

@zaddywxlf damn, I honestly respect people who update their books twice a week, like I don't have the GUTS LMAO (or the time)

That's great tho, and I think we're in the same time zone...
