Zander Buckingham lives in the Rocky Mountains. He is 84 years old, retired and has been married to the same woman for 58 years. He is both a father and a grandfather. He was born poor during what is now kindly referred to as "the great depression”. It wasn’t “great.” He grew up in a housing project designed for poor people. He was lonely, unhappy, and ashamed of his situation. His goal was to get himself and his family out of there. He did – legally, but perhaps not always ethically. Enough said about that. Zander was awarded his college scholarship when he was 15, graduated from high school at 17 and college when he was 20. He had a successful career in advertising. He had wanted to be a writer of novels, but had no interest in starting off poor again. During his business career he wrote several books as a hobby, which he never tried to get published. That was before computers – in the age of typewriters – so after awhile he threw those books away. When computers came around, he wrote his books on a computer. He was about to clean these new ones off his computer when he heard about internet publishing – and it was free. Here are some of them. If you like them – good. Of not – that’s OK too.
