@zarynmaples oh, wow, amino shut down? I used to love that app but all the communities slowly went dead and I finally left. Feels crazy knowing it's actually gone now. I hadn't known.

Sneak peak of the next chapter of TIDAL WAVE (I’d like feedback if anyone sees this) 
          
          A woman, my mother, is standing beside me. We are standing at the end of a pier. There are seagulls everywhere and the sky is darkening but it's completely clear. My mother brings me into a side hug as she stares at the sky. "Isn't it beautiful? I wish we could spend everyday here." she sighs dreamily. "You know, even some of the most beautiful things aren't beautiful to everyone." She looks at me. "Because they simply lack the ability to appreciate such beauty." She whispers with a smile and kisses me on the forehead.
