Is it okay to cry when someone says they hate you even if you know they didn't mean it?

So I'm trying to get the word out about The Letter Project. I think I have to learn "networking" so that way I can effectively spread the word about this project. If anyone has an idea,just message it to me. I'd love suggestions.

I just posted the first two "chapters" in a project I've been working on. I've spent a significant amount of time coming up with and designing this project so it would mean a lot if someone where to check it out.
