My back hit the wall, and before I could process anything, he caged me in completely. His arms rested on either side of my shoulders, trapping me between his tall frame and the cold wall behind me.
I didn't know why... but my heartbeat started racing like a bullet train.
"W‑what are you doing?" I whispered, hating how my voice trembled.
God, why am I stuttering?
"You said na I'm shy," he replied, looking straight into my eyes-unyielding, intense, like he could see right through me.
I didn't even realize when I nodded. My body reacted faster than my brain.
"N‑no.. I didn't mean that," I tried to say, but before I could think, it was already too late.
He had already pinned both of my hands above my head with one of his, his grip firm but careful. His other hand slid to my waist, pulling me impossibly closer-close enough that my breath tangled with his.
"No," he whispered against my ear, his voice low and warm.
"Let me show you... what your 'shy' husband can actually do."

Thank you for reading You said Forever and Always until the end. I know the characters are flawed, they've made mistakes but I hope you enjoyed the story.
I was hoping to portray how trauma can propagate trauma and we need to make a conscious effort to make the cycle end.
For eg, some woman hurt Advik, his trauma led him to hurt Naina. Naina's trauma from Advik made her hurt Zayne. Until she took it too far and realized for herself that she needed to stop.
A lot of times, you could have support, counseling and even medications but you still need to have self realization to move on.
I also wanted to portray the damage caused by forcing yourself to move from one relationship to the next without allowing yourself the time to heal.
I hope you liked the story, even if you didn't like the female character.
