          Today I'm giving a shout out to 2 absolutely awesome writers that you simply MUST READ!
          
          The 1st shout out, is to the very talented @scottish_writer & her amazing book, 'Way of the Woad'.  I struggle to grasp the fact that this young lady is only 17 years old & already so talented, it blows me away.  I predict BIG things for this lovely lady, who already has skills of someone twice her age. Not to mention already teaming up and co-writing with the super talented author @ALMcGurk, (of a soon to be released piece of work on WP, so keep your eyes peeled).  @ALMcGurk is a truly wonderful author, who like me, recognises, supports, praises & nurtures young talent, & has clearly seen the natural aptitude shining brightly from our @Scottish_writer, Rebecca.  
          
          Whilst we are discussing the unbelievable talent of @ALMcGurk you HAVE TO read her 'Vampire Cohort Series'. She is currently half way through the 5th book in the 6 part series. It is unlike any other series I have EVER had the pleasure of reading.  We are talking uber talent! This series will live in my heart forever.  Angela has an outstanding capacity to create a whole world that is so well presented it feels like a movie. On top of this incredible world building, she has the most amazing gift to be able to write emotions like no other writer I have ever come across, to the degree that YOU ARE the main character.  You're not an outsider looking in, or stood alongside.  Mix in a storyline which keeps you on your toes and is impossible to predict, with unforgettable characters, who take your breath away with their passion, tenacity & realism & you are lost to this series forever! However you must hurry, because book one, 'Bite the Bullet' is currently being edited & prepared for publication & will be pulled from WP on the 1st October.

There was a very surreal & humbling moment in my life last week, when my dear beloved friend & author, Angela Louise McGurk (@ALMcGurk) sent me an advanced copy of a new novella she was starting. She sold it to me as a spin off to the Vampire Cohort Series that she is currently writing (4 books out of 6, are well underway).  
          
          I ALWAYS get excited to receive, read, proof, comment & make general suggestions on anything Angela writes. But this one knocked me for six. 
          
          Upon opening, instead of reading "Introduction" on the opening chapter as I expected, I read "Dedication", which was different to the normal format used. Then the moment came when I realised the dedication was to ME!  Not only that, but the character is also named after me!! Yep! Zoe:-) Plus the surname of the character means Sand in Greek, which was as close as she could get to my own surname. 
          
          I was incredibly moved, humbled & for once in my life speechless.  When I pulled myself together enough to dive in the introduction and the first chapter reveal that my character is a badass!  To say I LOVE IT would be an understatement!
