@lovelivelauhh hi thank you for such kind messages. i wanted to say to that i should’ve made it clear from the beginning that i read a load of books and i can’t help but get inspiration from any books i read. i absolutely loved the runaway, as it is one of best books i’ve read so i can’t help that it’s engraved into my head and i use it as inspiration to write my own. i don’t want to make it seem as if i’m “stealing” bazooka’s story. also, i want to say that i did not copy the name choices from bazooka like mmc nico, i can admit that i’ve only taken inspiration of some storylines of the runaway such as Mara running away from an abusive household. i’ve had the characters in my story planned for a long time (two years ago), and i have read the runaway probably a year ago. i hope this helps.
