@Raider189 i feel bad for his kids. i also feel bad for the kids that were shot in colorado yesterday. i feel bad for the kids in gaza that are being starved and bombed, and the kids that are forced to carry their rapist babies because “abortion is worse than the holocaust”. i feel bad for the kids who’s families are getting torn apart and deported, just because they “look the part”.
when people’s rights are being taken away, people are gonna get angry. the US was born on violence. marginalized groups had to fight for their rights, and now they are actively being taken away. people have tried the peaceful methods, and it’s not working. it doesn’t matter how many calls they give their officials, how many marches they go to, things keep getting worse for people in this country. at some point, if you want change to happen, violence has historically been what has had to happen.
mind you, this is the same man that said that the gun deaths that occur in these mass shootings are worth it in order to keep the second amendment. he actively worked against the one thing that has been proven to minimize gun deaths. if you wanna sit there on a high horse, that’s fine. I’m not losing any sleep over that man, I’m not shedding any tears for him.
