Zahra writes stories about people who feel too much and say too little.

When she isn't writing emotionally complicated characters or imagining fictional hotel empires, she's usually sketching, painting, baking something sweet, redesigning her room for the hundredth time, or filling notebooks with ideas that may or may not become stories someday.

"The Distance Between Floors" is her debut novel, a story that started as one ending she couldn't stop thinking about and slowly built itself into everything in between.

She hopes you'll carry a piece of this story with you, long after you've turned the final page.
