13 ~ The gifts

"Hang on... what's happened here" Ethan laughs as he looks at the messages on his phone. "I'm buying for you Jide. They've messed this up somehow" he chuckles as he looks up at Josh and JJ and then back at his phone.

"Oh I just got a text saying to meet Harry and Vik so I can shop with them" JJ lightly laughs as he shrugs before putting his phone in his pocket.

(This is me trying to fix what I did because I realised that someone is going to have to buy for a person in the same group as them and it wouldn't work and I can't be bothered to go back and fix / rewrite it)

"Ah okay mate, have fun" Ethan smacks JJ's back as he walks off before turning to Josh with a shrug before they go off to buy their gifts.

They each genuinely tried to put a certain level of thought into the gifts, obviously buying a few jokey items but some thoughtful none the less.

"Aye Harry... I know what you should get Simon" JJ chuckles as he looks through the window of a small drug store.

"What?" Harry says as he walks towards JJ with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Should buy him some new hair dye" JJ smirks and Vikk laughs at the idea as Harry shakes his head with a chuckle.

Over an hour goes by - the time given to buy the gifts was an hour - and they all get to the villa late. Simon and Tobi were only 15 minutes late. Josh and Ethan were just over 25 minutes late and JJ, Vik and Harry were over 40 minutes late because Harry wanted to go back and buy more Hair dye which was in the opposite side of the giant mall and JJ forgot to buy an extra gift of some sort.

They all sit in a circle on sofas, chairs and beanbags around the living room. All next to their teammates. They've all got their small pile of assorted gifts next to them. Simon and Harry as usual looking at each other when the other isn't looking.

"Alright who's going first?" Vikk speaks up as he looks around the room. Everyone's a bit quiet, Harry and Simon lock eyes for a second but to them feels like hours before looking down and playing with their hands, almost unconsciously mirroring each other.

"Vikk, mate, you spoke first so who did you buy for?" Tobi speaks up as he looks over at him.

"I bought fooorr..." Vikk drags out the 'for' as he picks up his small (ish) pile of $500 presents and walks over to Simon and Tobi on the opposite side of the room to him. "Tobi" he says with a chuckle as Tobi let's out a breathy thank god because it wasn't JJ buying for him this time.

They decide to go in a pattern. So because Vikk gifted to Tobi, Tobi then gifts to the next person and that person gifts to- yeah you get the idea. A bunch of laughs, many jokey presents but a couple of meaningful ones too. Obviously, Harry and Simon were last due to the fact they bought for each other so they were left out of this circle thing.

"Okay so just you two left" Ethan said with a chuckle as he points between the two. "Who's going first?" He asks trying to ease the very clear tension and they both look at each other as Harry shrugs with a mumbled, almost inaudible, I don't mind.

"I will" Simon chirps with a grin, showing his dimple which made it hard for Harry not to smile. "I want you to open this one first" Simon smiles as he sits beside Harry and hands him a present which is funnel shaped.

"Pfft- oh god" Harry laughs [i WENT TO WRITE LAF OMG- I'm too dyslexic I apologise] as he opens up the poster, everyone trying to get a look to know why he's laughing. Then Ethan bursts into a fit of giggles as he catches a glimpse of the poster.

"Hang in there- wha- AHaHaA" Ethan laughs out as he does his iconic laugh which just makes everyone laugh more. Harry turns the poster around to show the camera with a breathy chuckle and slight sigh of oh my days, seriously.
