Summary
Tulip Davenport isn't exactly failing in life, but finding success is proving a lot harder than she thought. Her would-be career in journalism ended before it could start when old wounds from her past came to light, and the unexpected joy she found in opening her own boutique restaurant was dampened by a fire that nearly claimed her life. With her beloved bistro undergoing renovations and a new menu in mind, Tulip is giving the lighter side of journalism a chance, but the death threats she's started receiving aren't making things any easier...
Alex O'Rourke is a hardened journalist through and through. He's exposed corporate scandals, covered civil unrest, and most recently completed an exposé on a band of warring drug cartels in South America.
