What is perfection?
Is it curves and formed figures?
Or is it thinness and thigh gaps?
It's neither.
Perfection has become a disease in our nation,
If we don't stop it now, it'll move on to further generations,
And it can be gone if we can convince ourselves,
That our beauty is our flaws, And it's within ourselves,
When confidence is a crime,
Embracing your flaws is the time,
Don't allow flaws to be one to embrace,
But let them be what makes us,
Builds us,
Beautifies us,
If pimples and spots are flaws,
Then perfection should be a law,
Because everyone would be in prison,
From seeing what they saw,
On the face of every real girl,
Real boy,
Real person,
Because false lashes and implants won't hide the real you,
The real perfection,
That is deep in all of us,
And it's the one thing all of us have in common,
Our flaws.
