Buddies,
Life as sisters,
Your diaries,
Your comfort,
Each other before misters,
Your bond,
Your connection,
Surpasses all wrongs,
But the time it will last,
Sadly isn't for long,
The people you meet,
The faces you greet,
Your personalities change,
Then together there's an awkwardness,
And the friendship becomes strange,
That unbreakable bond,
Wasn't that strong,
Because now you fight and you can't get along,
You still love each other,
There's no doubt you do,
But as people start changing,
Of course you do too,
That "best friends forever" that you dreamt from the start,
Cannot be for real, once you have a change of heart,
For if forever were a year, then you'd never be apart.
