"Let Me" ~hawks

Your life had not been so bad, you lived in a decent area, your parents raised you the best of their abilities, though not always in the right, but you didn't have a bad up bringing. You went to school wanting to be a hero but soon dropped out due to wanting to pursue a different career path, your parents weren't mad, in fact they supported you, tenfold. You'd always had friends up until dropping out of hero school, all your friends went on to become very busy in their hero studies rarley having time for you. It was just you and you alone.

It would move you to tears to see other people happy sometimes, being so ecstatic for them but a slight twing of jealousy pulled at your heart which made you feel alittle guilty. You kept to yourself most the time, you worked full time at this really nice cafè that would sell baked goods, you remembered coming here all the time as a kid due to the owner being a old family friend who you considered family at this point.

"Hello and welcome to the __ cafè how can I help you?" You smiled gently toward the customer, your eyes widened a bit at seeing beautiful scarlet red wings protruding from his body, you stood there in awe, only to snap yourself out of it after a few seconds. "I-im sorry for staring sir. Um would you like a table?" Glancing into his golden eyes you could see a look of mischief in the bird man's eyes. "If you'd be so kind as to have me humming bird, I'll take anywhere you put me." He said in the most charming way possible.

Humming bird? You thought to yourself smiling slightly turning away form him. "Very well then" you said guiding him towards his table. "I guess he'll be one of those kinds of customers" you thought to yourself sighing softly as you placed him in his booth.

As you walked around tending to a few other tables, you kept getting the feeling of being watched, you knew what table it was coming from, the birdman, who apparently had nothing better to do than to sit here and watch you?

Trying to ignore him you smiled at customers refiled drinks all the while humming a soft tune to yourself. Seeing there was no one else who needed assistance you walked back over to the birds perch. "Sir..is there anything I can help you with? You've been here for quite some time and haven't ordered anything" you asked him.

"So you really don't know who I am do you?" He hummed softly to himself before looking at you with a smile. "I'll take whatever your favorite thing is, from here" he finally said with a slight smile. Even if he was obnoxious you had to admit he was damn fine. "Alright that'll be coming up pretty soon!"

You smiled softly at him realise he's no harm just a bit of a doe doe brain.The idea of teasing him about being stupid made you chuckle softly to yourself as you walked away form his table to get his order ready.

As you swayed your hips gently walking his trey out to him you, not fully paying attention to your suroundings, tripped over a chair.  Closing you eyes for the impact of your face to the ground, broken glass everywhere and a disapproving look from your boss, you waited, but it never came. "Are you ok?" You heard a voice ask you as you opened your eyes seeing you were caught by a flying bundle of feathers? it shocked you.

"Sorry to use my quirk on you, a hero has to save lives ya know!" He chuckled helping you land on your feet as he took the food. "This is mine I assume?" You simply nodded staring at this beautifully stupid man.

"Names Hawks" he smiled softly before finishing the small cake handing you the dish back, before you knew it he was gone. You were in aw as you started at the door looking down at his mug and plate you see a paper.

"Your cute songbird, you seem to work really hard. Let me make it so that you don't have to work as hard form now on" the note read followed by his number, it surprised you, here you knew nothing of this man but hes offering to take care of you. You'd probably never see him again, so why not indulge in his game. A soft smile appeared on your lips as you texted the number. "Y/N" you texted a few moments later. "Thanks for texting me back songbird. I ment it when I said it, I'm going to take care of you, so please, let me"

You couldnt help but shake your head, a soft giggle escaping your lips whoever this mystery man "hawks" was, you were sure he'd keep his promise to you. Maybe you didn't have to be alone anymore.

Honestly this bird brain is my favorite, I love him the most out of the entire cast, my next favorite is dabi then endevor.. (don't ask anything)debating weather or not I want to do Dabi, Bakugou, or Fatgum next.
