Trying To Out Run You(book 2) Complete

Hey guys! I decided to make this after Christmas ... Sorry i have posted in awhile but its fine, i think? Plus my cats been missing and were trying to find her...

Barry was waiting for Oliver to come pick him for there lunch, It was 11:45 a.m. and they were planning on going Christmas shopping after they get there food and drinks. "And where are you going? Cecile asked then followed by an "Oh, make sure to get me something good!" she said making Barry laugh.

"Yes of course I would." Barry said putting his phone in his pocket, he then heard a honk from outside. "Bye!" Barry said going outside to Oliver's car.

"Hey oli." He said opening the car door and getting inside, "Hey bare, ready to eat and get presents?" Oliver asked and Barry nodded happily. "Yes, it's going to be so fun!" He said buckling up.

Oliver and Barry had arrived at jitters and started ordering there food and coffee. "Anyway, are we spitting up or going in stores together?" Barry asked. "Together, I already got you your presents." Oliver said taking a sip of his drink. "Perfect! " Barry said.

"When I give you your present and you open it on Christmas, make sure to call me I want to see you open it." Barry said biting into his food and smiling. "Promise." Oliver said smiling. They ate there food and left to different stores and a mall. "What do you think little boys like?" Oliver asked. "You mean johns kid?" Barry asked and Oliver nodded. "Well when i was little I was a Geek or nerd so i don't know how to answer that." Barry said shrugging.

Oliver went and looked around more and came back with three things . A Nerf gun, a 2,000 Lego set and a kids movie. "Spoil the kid much?" Barry asked and Oliver laughed, "I'm basically his uncle, so yes of course I would." He said putting it in a cart. "Where we going next?" Oliver asked.

"I think we got everything, but i need to get something. Stay here." Barry said walking away from him. He came back shortly with nothing in his hands making Oliver confused. "I thought you had to get something?" He said. "I paid for it and ran it back home." Barry said shrugging .

They went to the check out and paid for there things. They walked to Oliver's car and Oliver opened the trunk. "Theirs enough room in the back of the car too so things should fit." Oliver said putting a few things in there then Barry used his power to put everything in the car and put the cart up. "Really?" Oliver asked and Barry laughed a little. "Your welcome." Barry said and they both got in the car. "So you wanna rap presents in my house?" Oliver asked and Barry nodded. "Yeah, Cecile and joe is going to be there so i cant rap anything peacefully." He said.

"Deal." Oliver said

They arrived at Oliver's apartment and they carried all the bags into the house, (thanks to Barry) quickly. "You can put your coat there." Oliver said hanging up his own. So Barry did then sat down on the floor where all the presents he had bought for people and stacks of rapping paper. "Sister not home?" Barry asked and Oliver nodded. "Out with friends." he said taking out a few things.

They started rapping presents  and making jokes while telling things that happened over the years. Soon Thea came home and helped Oliver and Barry rap the presents. "Ow!" Barry said looking at his thumb. Thea and Oliver quickly looked up at him. "Bandage?" Oliver asked. "Yeah." He said and Oliver got up and went to the kitchen. He came back with a bandage and crouched down in front of him.

Barry pause as Oliver held out his other hand for Barry but then did. He unwrapped the bandage and put it on the spot where the cut was making sure it was tight enough so it wouldn't peal off. "Thanks, but i could have done it myself." Barry said and chuckled. Oliver sat down in his spot and got back to what he was doing. "Too bad, already did it." He said putting tape on to wrapping paper.

"Thea can you hand me that?" Barry asked pointing at the snowman wrapping paper. She picked it up and handed it to him. "Thank you." He said grabbing it. "So... Barry how's iris and you?" She asked and Barry looked up at her and back to what he was doing. "We broke up." He said and her eyes glinted happily. "Sorry to hear that." She said bumping Oliver's shoulder and he shook his head. "Yeah, wasn't going to work out anyway." Barry said.

"And why is that?" Thea asked and Oliver glared at her but he ignored it. Barry paused and looked up at her. "Because I have m eye on someone else and so does she, why so many questions?" He asked with a confused face. "Just asking..." She said and Barry, again, went back to what he was doing. "Who do you have your eye on?" Thea asked and Barry put his things down and this time looked fully up at her so did Oliver. He glanced at Oliver then said. "Somebody."  

She raised a brow. "Come on Barry." She said and Barry shook his head. "Thea, don't push him." Oliver said patting her on the back and looking at Barry and mouthed 'sorry'. Barry smiled in response. She pointed at Oliver that only Barry would see and raised her eyebrow. Barry saw it and blushed and she smiled.

"So this crush, what's she like?" Thea asked and Barry almost choked on air. "Um...Guy actually, and uh.." It was obvious Barry was uncomfortable. "You're pushing it." Oliver whispered . "The what's he like?" She asked. "Ask him yourself." Barry said and the room went silent. Barry didn't mean to say that, it slipped out of his mouth. Thea smiled.

"What are you like Oliver?" She asked Oliver looked up at Barry who was staring at the floor, eyes wide and blushing like crazy. "Thea." Oliver said and Thea got up and went upstairs. "Yup, she pushed you to much." he said standing up and going over to Barry. He got on his knees and Barry looked up. "Hey, it's okay." Oliver said and hugged him. Barry shocked a bit but hugged back, gripping on his shirt.

A second later Barry was gone, with his stuff, and there was a note laying on the ground in front of him. It only said: 

Thank you, see you on Christmas day

Oliver smiled even though Barry left, he was happy he felt the same feelings as him. He looked over t the coat hanger and his jacket and Oliver's was gone, only Thea's was there and another note that said:

P.S. Don't buy another jacket! I'll return it on Christmas when you open your present, or i might keep it...

"He gone already?" Thea asked seeing the not in Oliver's hand. "Thanks to you." Oliver said with a chuckle. "You don't mind getting the grocery's for awhile, do you?" He asked pointing to the coat hanger and Thea shook her head. "Nah it's fine." She said.

Oliver took out his phone and texted Barry.

"Keep it." He texted and put his phone away

I found my cat! Yeah, she was under the house but she wanted to stay quiet.... Any way, what you think? Please tell me what you guys think is going to happen! Bye loves
