Trying To Out Run You(book 2) Complete

A Coming-Out Christmas

It's been a week since the whole incident with Oliver and Thea. He knew he would have to come out to his family soon but he didn't know when. Even when he was with iris he knew his sexuality, and still didn't tell anyone. Christmas was tomorrow and he would have to see Oliver as said, and Thea. 

"Barry, me and Cecile are going over to iris's, figured you didn't want to go do you?" Joe asked and Barry opened the door. "Uh... no thanks, I'll probably see her tomorrow anyway." He said rubbing the back of his head. "Okay, then can you take care of Jenna while were gone?" Joe asked and Barry nodded.

"Yeah, where is she?" Barry asked. "Down stairs, and her stuff is in her nursery." Joe said heading down stairs with Barry. Cecile was waiting at the door. "Ready to go?" She asked and joe nodded. "We'll be back in a few hours." Joe said opening the door and leaving.

Barry looked over to the baby sitting in the living room and playing with the toys around her. "Guess its just me and you."  He said sitting down on the couch and turning on the TV.

An hour later  a knock came on the door. Barry walked over to it and opened it. Cisco, Caitlin, and Harry Wells was standing there. "hi?" Is all Barry said. "Barry!" Cisco said happily and smiled. "Hi Cisco." Barry said letting them in. "What are you guy's doing here?" Barry asked.

"Well, were having a Christmas party in the building. And were inviting you of course." Caitlin said and Cisco nodded. "Joe and Cecile sent us here to get the presents moved to the lab for it, there coming." Wells said. "Well then I'm coming." Barry said and picked up a present. "Need help?" Barry asked with a smile. "Go ahead."  Caitlin said and went over to Jenna. in a few seconds every present was gone. 

"Hi Jenna! Look how cute you are." She said taking a toy and playing with her. "Ok, there in the front because I didn't know where to put them. " Barry said a bit out of breath, "Anything else?" He asked and Cisco shook his head. "Just that, unless you wanna hang out with us?" Cisco asked.

"We would have to hang out here, I'm taking care of Jenna." He said looking behind his to see Caitlin playing with her. "Looks like were going to have to anyway... games?" Cisco asked putting up his coat along with Harrys. They both ran to the TV and turned on the PlayStation. "I'll win!" Barry said putting in Black cops: Call of duty. "You wish." Cisco said as they loaded into the game.

a few hours later Joe and Cecile came home and Cisco, Harry, and Caitlin had already left an hour before. "Thank you bare." Joe said as Barry went upstairs to his bedroom. "No problem!" he said closing the door of his room. He had already ate supper, and got ready for bed. "Why did the day have to go by so fast?" Barry said to him self as he laid down in bed. He turned off his lamp and and covered himself in his blanket. The next few moments later, he fell asleep.

Next day, 7:41 A.M.

A knock on the door woke Barry just a bit. "Barry!" he heard a voice say. "Get up, we need help setting up the food at the lab!" They said again then opened the door. "Barry, good your awake now get dressed." Caitlin said walking back out. Barry stretched and looked at the time. "Merry Christmas, me." Barry said to himself. He got out of bed and used his powers to get dressed quickly. He ran down stairs and got something out of the fridge and ate it. 

"Here to help." Barry said putting on Oliver's coat he allowed him to keep. "Good, are you running or coming in my car?" She asked knowing the answer. "Always running." He said opening the door for her. They went outside and she got in her car. "See ya there. He said then left to the lab. A minute later he was walking into the lobby and going into the elevator. "No, its supposed to be right there." Barry heard Cisco say as he walked in.
