I wish I could believe you then I'll be alright
But now everything you told me really don't apply
To the way I feel inside
Loving you was easy once upon a time
But now my suspicions of you have multiplied
And it's all because you liedBeyonce - Resentment

We arrived at the hospital and Quentin literally made me run with him to the maternity ward, when we approached their it kind of reminded me of when I had Anaya the fast paced atmosphere women screaming from room to room but like myself Quentin’s mum had private room like all done up, I admired as we walked in.
I was greeted to Justine sleeping on the chair and Quentin’s mum holding her baby and I couldn’t help but wonder where all of the father of the family were because they all looked alike, the baby was beautiful little boy by the looks of his little thing down there, he had coco skin and curly jet black hair and looked big for a new born.
“You must be Alicia, Justine has told me so much about you” His mum smiled then gave Quentin the side eye making us all laugh, “I’m Cynthia the mother of that little brat.” She said.
“I ain’t no brat” Quentin huffed, “Where’s the rest of your batch of unruly kids” He asked making me laugh thinking of Tyson and Tyrese.
“Quincy on his way now, Tyrone and Tyrese just left, Reshaan and Renee are at home with Blake and Justine been with me all day when I told her I ain’t feeling myself and then found out I was in labour” She shrugged like a g and then nursed her baby boy, I could tell she was a loving mum just how she new the down low on her kids.
“What’s his name?” I asked giving a warm smile.
She looked at her baby boy then back to me, “Darius” she smiled and rocked him, “it’s my husband’s middle name.”
“Same husband that’s never here” Quentin grumbled.
“Quentin MalachI Murray, don’t you ever disrespect your father like that! You know damn well he’s doing it all to provide for everyone, it wasn’t an issue back when you was a kid and he bought you the world!”
Quentin clenched his jaw, “I was a kid! The man turns up every few year, fucks you then your pregnant again with a new kids and what because he sends you money you think oh it’s cool? Naw I couldn’t even tell you what Dad looks like!” he pretty much yelled but his faced soften when his brother began to cry.
“Get the fuck out!” His mum snapped back at him.
With that he grabbed me and exited the hospital, his eyes just full of rage so I didn’t pry for conversation on the journey back home because he didn’t seem in the mood.
“I love my mum but she makes dumb decisions with that man” He mumbled out and I nodded not in agreement because it wasn’t my place to take side but just as a sign I was listening.
“Also…” he began, “Earlier today wasn’t a mistake to me because I did wanna have sex with you but yeah I agree what you side earlier, it ain’t nothing more than it was, like I’ve never looked for a full on relationship so I don’t wanna give you the wrong impression but I do… uh enjoy your company” He added, I gave him a questioning look but just shrugged him off.
