First Meeting

The end of the week....

Today is the day we move to Dakota City. To be honest I'm kind of scared to start over but I'm ready for it. We are currently heading to the airport to catch our flight, it's almost a four hour flight. This is gonna be a stressful flight because my brothers are sitting together and that is a disaster waiting to happen. 

On the flight....

I'm looking out of the window on the flight at the clouds while listening to my Beyoncé playlist. Our mother is sitting next to me reading Twilight  New Moon. My brothers are across the aisle from mother and I. I turned my head slightly to look at my brothers.By the looks of things, Tobi is watching Gemini Man on his laptop, while Jordan is playing Jump Force on his switch. But, it is hard to tell if Jr. is sleeping or listening to music because his hoodie is covering his face. I turned back to look out my window and slowly drift off in to a deep sleep. There is about ten minutes left for the flight. How do I know this, cause my mother decided she was gonna wake me up to tell me that she is for team Jacob. Ten minutes have passed and we landed in Dakota City, this place reminds me of Miami kinda. We got a cab from the airport to our new house in the suburbs. We all fixed a sandwich and called it a night. The weekend rolled by quickly, since we used it to put all our belongings up. Tomorrow is going to be a challenge because my brothers and I, start our first day at Howell G. Duff High.

Next Morning on the way to School.....

Jr.: "Are y'all ready for a new school year?"

(Y/N): " You mean being in y'all shadows this year again then sure. I'm ready as I'll ever be."

Tobi & Jordan: "Don't say that sis"

Jordan: " This year they put us all in the same classes. So you won't be in our shadows."

(Y/N): " Forgot that y'all are in my classes. Well boys were here"

We all looked up at our new high school and when I say this school big. I mean this school is huge. We walked through the doors as a group; to our right  had the jocks and the typical high school bitch and to the left you had the nerds and anime geeks. We continued down the hall until we heard the sound of someone getting thrown into a locker. Instantly my head snapped in the direction of the commotion. I saw a nerd being held by his shirt by the ginger headed dude. 

Nerd: "Please Francis! I can't give you my lunch money. That's all I have for the rest of the week."

As he struggled to get out of Francis' grip.

Francis: "Well that's to bad little man. You should have thought about that before you bumped into me"

Francis cranked back his fist to punch the nerd in his face. I bolted towards them, I grabbed his arm stopping Francis from hitting the nerd in the face. He let go of the nerd and turned to look at me. A grin creeped on his face when he looked at me. I stood my ground ready to fight on my first day of school. Francis looked up to see my brothers standing not too far behind me.

Francis: "Well well well, looks like we have  new kids with us this year." He grinned, "Let me tell you something girly, don't mess with me if you know what's good for yah". 

He looked me dead in my eyes trying to scare me. I stood my ground and didn't budge. I yanked his shirt so he was eye level with me.

(Y/N): "Well Princess let me tell you something, people like you don't scare me. Cause all you want is attention and I don't have time for your shit".

I looked him dead in the eye for one more minute before letting go his shirt. Everyone around us who saw what went down started chatting amongst themselves. I turned around to walk back to my brother so we could be on our way to the office to get our schedules. When Francis decided to throw the first punch at me. Before my brothers or I  could react someone stopped his fist from hitting me. When I turned around I saw him. This stranger in a navy blue jacket with yellow trim, black pant, black gloves, black vans and white shirt. I could not see his face clearly because he had the hood of the jacket over his head. Lost in my train of thought my brother rushed over to me to check if I was alright. Francis pulled back his fist and looked at the stranger with anger. Then he walked away angry but before he was too far away he whispered under his breath.

Francis: " This isn't over girly. Nobody gets away with talking to me like that."

 I knew that this wouldn't be the end of this jerk, but when he does decide to make his move I'll be ready for him. Being the leader of a gang you pick up a lot of "dangerous habits" that keep you alive. Still lost in my thoughts I did not notice the stranger then turned around to look at me. While taking off his hood, his face was revealed and let me say he looked hot as hell. He had his one ear pierced, wearing a pair of yellow tint aviators and silver chain. His hair were locks that complimented his style and facial features. He smiled at me and reached out his hand to welcome my brothers and I to the school. I reached out my hand to greet him.

(Y/N): "Well, thank you stranger. What's your name?"

Virgil: "My name is Virgil Hawkins. But, you can call me Virg." 

(Y/N): "Well, I'm (Y/N), and these are my brothers Tobi, Jordan, and Jr."

Virgil: "Its nice to meet y'all. I gotta go to my first period, see y'all around."

He waved and turned around to head to his first period class. My brothers and I turned and walked all the way to the office to get our schedules. We got our schedules and headed to first period which was our math class. As we knocked on the door and proceeded to walk in all eyes were on us. As always every teacher wants you to introduce yourself in front of the class. After doing that she told us to find a seat. We all made our way to the back of the classroom and took our seat. I was too focused on what the teacher was saying to notice I was sitting next to Virgil. He caught my attention by pointing out a small mistake I made in my notes. I thanked him for the help and we continued to talk. It's the end of class and my brothers already ran through the door leaving me behind to finish pack my bag.  I looked up to see Virgil waiting by the door to walk me to my next class. For someone who I just meet, he is really nice. We made our way out of the class to our next period. After the second period we went our separate ways and didn't see each other till lunch and after school. 

After School.....

My brothers and I made our way though the front doors of the school and proceeded to make our way back home.  Thats when I heard Virg yell from behind. We stopped to see what the matter was. He told us there was no problem, he forgot to get my number. He said in case I get into any type of trouble give him a call and he'll be there immediately. We exchanged numbers and I said to him.... 

(Y/N): " The same goes for you. If you ever need help just text or call me I'll be there in a flash".

I gave him a smile before I turned around to join my brothers once again to head home. I thought to myself that this year is going to be interesting.
